I went to a rainy, abbreviated Cars & Coffee in Great Falls, VA with my girlfriend this Saturday.

1) Her favorite thing at the whole show was this hood ornament, that I embarrassingly could not identify. Righteous, though.

2) My girlfriend had a good time though. We dug this old, stately Mercedes-Benz.

3) This Huracan was a bright spot in a dreary October day. They are way more striking and dramatic in person.

4) My favorite, though, was by far this gorgeous, immaculate Datsun 240Z. Mmm mmm mm.

So go support your local Cars & Coffee - it's a hell of a sweet way to spend a morning, even if it's raining. After all, I now have this slick lock screen to show for it.

And I agree. I take back everything I said about those few design elements I thought were a little out of place. When I finally saw it in person, I forgot what they were. I think it's a really, really good design that will age well.

The hood ornament looks like a modern, custom "steam punk" fabrication.

wonder what he was doing in town.... i woke up saw it was rainy so i went back to bed... maybe i'll go this weekend. katies is infinitely more fun than fairfax on sundays
